The Beer Store is expanding its partnership with DoorDash, providing an even more seamless experience for customers. Customers ordering delivery on The Beer Store’s website (www.thebeerstore.ca) or mobile app will now have their cold beer delivered right to their home, powered with on-demand delivery through DoorDash Drive. The first party partnership with DoorDash will amplify The Beer Store’s existing e-commerce channel strategy plan and provide customers across Ontario with great value on cold beer daily.
Just in time to celebrate Canada Day responsibly, The Beer Store aims to double its current delivery reach to over 300 retail stores in Ontario. In January, The Beer Store announced the start of its partnership with DoorDash, launching an online retail footprint on the marketplace. This expansion underscores The Beer Store’s expansive presence on third-party delivery marketplaces.

Consumers can now enjoy new flexible delivery options through the partnership, including Now, Same Day, or Scheduled deliveries, plus the option to pre-pay for online orders and delivery service within their neighbourhoods.

The Beer Store and DoorDash will launch their first ever partnership campaign at the Toronto Union Station Bay Concourse, with captivating ads running from June 3 to 16. The collaborative campaign will include a $0 delivery fee on eligible orders of $60 or more* to new and existing customers and a $0 delivery fee on eligible orders of $60 or more* to new and existing customers ordering from The Beer Store’s website or mobile app.
Embracing responsibility as a shared value, The Beer Store and DoorDash prioritize safe alcohol delivery and consumption. Dashers in Ontario are Smart Serve-certified and follow DoorDash’s two-step ID verification process, which strengthens how IDs are checked before alcohol is delivered, promoting responsible alcohol delivery to customers aged 19 and over. Among a variety of other safety measures, Dashers are prompted to cancel an alcohol delivery if the recipient fails to produce a valid ID, appears intoxicated, or attempts to purchase for a minor.
